    A mighty tree may have once stood here. Yet the stump is still a reminder of the past. The tree towered over this field once, and I can almost feel its presence in the picture. Nice!

    Seems like a story tree. What was it once, how did it once look, did it get a disease, and will the stump be removed? Lovely roots, too.
