    Have seen a few empty roads myself, usually out in the country as well as on the way to resort areas in the off season. Your photo evokes not the rest of a season before the new life of Spring but rather a cold and barren place that is anything but inviting. As your title says - empty. Good one.

    I don't get to see too many empty roads, not even at 3:00 in the morning. Traffic is a zoo here. :-D

    It may be empty, but there is still an illusion of speed, probably because of the lines. Like it.
