Looks like Austria?
Well, at least this one is in Passau!
Next to the river Danube there are some hills where you can find cute, small houses like this one. And sometimes they remind me of the stereotype village house somewhere in the Alps in Austria, especially because Austria is so near you can walk there. But of course it's just a stereotype and most of Austrian houses do not look like this.

Religion at your house wall
You often can find sculptures like this one as decoration not only on churches but also on normal houses. This one is on a wall belonging to a normal dwelling house.
In most cases they show Jesus ans Mary or other religious characters.

L stands for lattice window
Many windows here have lattices on the outside, you can find that especially on houses located in the old town.

Just in case
Well, I have no idea what's the name of that thing in English. You find it every 50 meter on the waterside of one of the rivers for the case that someone falls into the water.

A closed door
First, thanks to koala for the idea to post bigger photos. My photos have the same size than usual but now it appears bigger in the blog than before! I had some trouble with posting a bigger size but I hope I fixed it now. You can click on every photo to enlarge! :)
Second, I'd like to answer some questions about the yesterday post. Not all street lights are fixed on houses. It depüends on where the street light stands. When there is a lot of space they are usually on poles. In the old town of Passau the streets are very narrow. I'll post some photos later so that you can see that. Most street lights which are located in the old town are fixed on houses just for the reason it looks pretty and you got more space to walk or drive. :)
About the baloon thing... I have no idea if we talk about the same but I think it is a flat ballon when youare talking about the lamp shade thing abouve the bulb (hard to explain in English).
Well, today you get a photo of a closed and locked old door in a street i forgot the name of.

Street Light
That's a typical street light. I think that's one thing that makes every single city look very unique. Every city got it's own style and so the street light have their own style and unique look, too.
When you compare that to the street lights I photographed in Saarbrücken you might know what I'm talking about.
