    Do they just like the blue and white colors, or do they mean something? Is it a holiday in Bavaria?

    The blue and white color is from the Bavarian flag. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Bavaria

    It's no holiday but people here love their state and so they often decorate in blue and white. :-)
